Americans have loved puzzling toys for generations. Historical folk puzzles such as the Shuttle Puzzle, Tic-Tac-Toe and the Fish Hook have delighted people of all ages. Many cozy evenings were spent, in days gone by, around firesides sharing these traditional American delights. Puzzles such as the Fish Hook came to be known as 'whimsey' puzzles or histerical folk toys (this is where we link to our own site for a side page on histerical or whimsical toys)
